Christmas pageant

We made our own little nativity scene this morning.

...getting a little silly

Lucy kept wanting to sit in the manger.

girly-girl

The other day Lucy was being especially quiet until she came out like this: Notice the slinky and keychain bracelets, the beads, purse, and the dollbaby's pacifier. Lucy is crazy about her little dolls. She cares for them with the sincerest tenderness. Today she came to me with her baby all upset about something and showing me the baby's diaper. After I changed the baby's diaper she happily took her doll back and walked away.

Candy Land

Caleb played his first game of Candy Land and won (fair and square)!

Christmas at home

We are so thankful to have been able to be home for this entire month. It took a few weeks to get back in the groove of cooking and cleaning, but I love it! Daniel's brother Nathan married Danielle, our dear and lovely new sister in law, on Dec 19, so the first two weeks home were busy with wedding preparations. Oh, the details! It was a wedding that excelled many in meaning and beauty. And over the top on the "sniffle scale."
Our support is 74.5 percent, so we are praying to be able to wrap up the traveling/support raising this spring!
And a few pictures from Christmas. As parents we found the greatest joys in seeing our children's eyes shine with glee when they opened those gifts we carefully chose. We can't help but think of our loving heavenly Father who delights in giving "good gifts to His children."

Christmas dinner at the Arnolds, with our relatives from MA who stayed the week after the wedding to share Christmas with us.

Happy Holidays!

After a full and wonderful month of December, we are back on the blog again. :o) Hope everyone had a Christmas as joyous as ours was.
