clowning around

She kept bringing me bows one by one, asking me to put them on her. :o)

the many faces of Lucy

Caleb is teaching Lucy how to make funny faces. And she'll do anything to make him laugh.
He says, "Do your funny mouth, Lucy!"

"Do your funny nose, Lucy!"
"Do your funny eyes, Lucy!"
"Good girl!"

83!

Thank you to any who are praying for our support to come in. With the addition of Stillwaters and some others, it has added up to 83 percent. The big question is, So when are you leaving? Still a little early to nail down departure plans, but if churches continue to jump on board like they have in last couple of months, we could be moving to Germany late summer or fall this year. It's going to be hard to say all the goodbyes of course, and all the unknowns of moving to another country, but we will lean on God then as we do now. God is our Rock of Strength! We are excited about getting into the language and culture so we can point Germans to the Truth of God's Word. I feel like it's time to stop talking about what we are going to do and start doing it, by the grace of God.

We've been in Northern IL (Rockford, Harvard, and Rochelle) the past couple weeks, and we go to Greensburg, PA and Vanderbilt, PA for Sunday.
Our friends David and Laura Neal went out kite flying with us. We got very good at both getting it up and landing it. :o) Please understand that we really do a lot more on deputation than fly kites! Ha. But it just proves that God is so good to give us plenty of good times with so many friends on the road.

family

We stopped by to see my family - a few days with Sarah and Mike, and a few days with Mom and Dad. The highlight of the trip for Caleb was seeing the dinosaurs at the Milwaukee Museum. The rest of us went there to see the Dead Sea Scrolls, but Caleb and Lucy preferred the animal dioramas and the rainforest.

Great-Grandma Wynveen was so sweet as always.
